The hats are thick which makes it seem like they would last longer than any flimsy swim cap. Even the back part where you tie the cap is very strong.

The only product I could compare it to would be a swimming cap because I have never seen anything like this cap before. The cap stays on and stays put without constantly having to adjust it.

I always wash anything before I let my children put it on themselves. First, I just threw it in the washer and I air dried it. Once it was air dried, the cap looked as good as new.

For what this cap is suppose to do, yes it properly accounts for safety, It’s not meant to be helmet, it’s meant to protect you from the UV rays, and that it does.

This is a one size fits all cap and it definitely fits my younger daughter by tieing the back, and my older daughter, it fits her head perfectly.

I would definitely recommend this product based on quality and I already have. It’s made very well and it has a variety of uses. You can wear it virtually anywhere for any occasion that you need protection from the sun.

I think it’s priced competitively. I think if you were to price it more, there would be a lot of people not wanting to buy it regardless of how great it is and if you price it too less, people will question it’s quality.

I would definitely recommend this product. First of all, it’s very easy to put and feels light. Since it’s wearable in a big size range, it’s appealing to know that my children could wear it longer. Style is good but not the best. I wish there were more style choices.

I would definitely purchase it. I think it would be easier to purchase in store because you can actually try it on and see the quality of the product. Online, it would be hard to see and based on price, I may just move onto something that’s lesser in price

Yes, I think it would be nice to see swimwear or even sun protection tents for children.

Yes, Nammu is very comfortable to where outside of water. When my daughter was head was hot from the sun, in the car, I put it on her and her complaining stopped.

It’s very important to have UV blocking gear on one’s head, and this does just that. I love that it can be worn in the water.

I think that this is a clever product, and that every child should have one! The sun’s rays can be dangerous in excess, but we also need our vitamin D (so we can’t stay out of the sun forever). It’s always important to have your head covered in the sun, and especially in and around the water where the rays reflect. This is a great product to have!

Yes! The Nammu Swimming Hat does appear to be a very durable, high quality product, that will stand the test of time. It feels thick and very well made. My daughter and I are quite pleased, and looking forward to Summer.

I have only had this product a short while, but have owned other products of almost identical materials, that have been very easy to care for, and the quality was never compromised due to washing, drying, etc.

As far as safety goes, this product will help keep the sun’s harsh UV rays off of a child, man, or woman’s scalp during those Summer months frolicking in the pool, helping prevent pre-cancerous lesions and deadly melanoma. The product itself, is completely and totally safe to use, at any age. There are no small parts, and nothing dangerous about it. The hat couldn’t be more harmless.

In all honesty, if I were buying these for numerous children in my family, which I do have, and for myself and husband, the price would be a bit steep for me. I’m not saying that it is not worth the price it is listed for, but I would say $16.95 would be a terrific price for this item, and would encourage parents of several children, (which are many), to buy for the entire family.

My 5 year old daughter, going on 15, was easily able to express her feelings to me about this product. She loved the hot pink color, and style, with a tiny white bow, so fashion wise she was very pleased. I thought it was adorable as well. She also said it was very comfortable, and fit well. So yes, we would recommend the product to others.

Like I said before, the price is a bit steep for me, especially with 4 children in tow, so if the price were a bit lower, yes I would, but at the current price, I wouldn’t be able to afford to…no.

I was thinking maybe the same hat, but with a little visor to keep the sun out of eyes, and part of the face of little children. It would be less functional for swimming I guess, but more of a comfortable lounging, and wading in the water hat.

Yes, my daughter wore it both wet and dry, and it is completely comfortable to wear when dry.

Just wanted to send a quick thank you email to you for the Nammu hats!! They were a huge hit in Mexico! My daughter refused to wear a sunhat while we were there but was eager to put her Nammu on every morning before we headed out the door. Not one sunburn! I even wore mine most of the time and was glad to have the extra sun protection.We’ll definitely be recommending these to our friends and are looking forward to using them this summer when we go to the beaches of P.E.I.
