I planned a two-week trip to my cottage and was looking for a durable sun protective hat that I could use for any activity. I was planning to use the nammu hat for some outdoor work, swimming, water skiing, boating and kayaking. I wanted a hat that I could wear for long periods of time, in and out of the water for all activities. I found nammu hats on the computer and ordered two hats, one with a visor and one without. I thought of using the hat with the visor for light activities around the cottage, kayaking, boating etc. I would then switch to the nammu hat without the visor for swimming and water-skiing.
I ordered both extra large because the hat has a tie at the back for extra security and comfort. The two nammu hats worked very well in whatever activity I did. They were not hot in the sun and dried fast.
I jumped and dived into the water without losing my hat and wore them for hours at an end anytime I was outdoors. I found them to be durable and at the end of the day gave them a little wash with soapy water and was ready to wear them the next day. I love this simple product as it gives back so much, and I never have to worry about sunburn on my head.
I will always keep stock of them at the cottage as there are also so many styles and designs.
