I’m of the generation where I don’t like to take selfies. I had thought of taking a photo while in a yoga “tree pose” wearing my Nammu swim hat, long sleeve tall neck shirt, and snorkel.
Anyway, how did I like the items? The hat is great without further comment. I wore it while snorkelling to keep my bald head from getting sunburned. The shirt, an extra-large, I liked very much as well. I used it for snorkelling, kayaking, and hiking. I pulled the tall neck section up over my nose and tucked the back beneath my hat. I had sunglasses that covered my prescription lenses. So I did not get sunburned at all.
I would make one minor change to the shirt though. I felt that the sleeves were too short. I used the thumb section so that the sleeve covered up the backs of my hands. But then the shirt got distended a bit. It really was not a problem, and I got used to it quickly, but I think I would make the sleeves a bit longer regardless. The thumb gap is a bit far back from the tip of the sleeve and puts some tension on the thumb.
I wish that there had been a way to hold the tall turtleneck up by itself. It tended to slip down, which was a bit annoying. But I couldn’t think of a solution for that.
All in all both hats and shirts are great products. I’ll see about getting a hat each for my two granddaughters. Then I’ll send you some cute photos!
