I was so looking forward to going sailing on my boat, but remember last year although I wore a baseball hat most of the time I still had problems. I like diving off the boat in open water and also using the wakeboard. I am bald and got burnt on my head, ears and neck last year. The baseball cap protects my head, but I can’t dive into the water with it so when I swim, my head is exposed to the sun. When I am sailing, I am still getting burnt on my neck and ears, while wearing the baseball cap.
A friend of mine is going through chemo treatments, was getting better, and I noticed he is always wearing this cool-looking hat. When I saw him the next time, I saw the word Nammu on the hat. I went online and found this business in Canada called nammu sun protection. I believe I found a solution and peace of mind for my head. This sun protective hat was would be perfect. I decided to buy the extra UV protection with earflaps and visors. I bought two of them and also purchased a swim shirt. The hat and shirt solved my problem. The nammu fit comfortably on my head. There is a tie at the back for extra security.
The hat was soft and dries quickly in the sun. The hats are spandex and nylon, with a UV rating of plus 50. I was also able to fit a snorkelling mask over the hat comfortably.. When I dove into the open water, that hat stayed on, and I would literally wear it for hours at a time, with not a care in the world. The swim shirt was great too, and my days of getting sunburned are over. Such a simple product that offers excellent protection
