My friend and I wanted to take a trip up a mountain in Peru where there is a hot spring at an elevation of 20000 feet. We would be leaving in 10 days. I have everything planned for this adventurous trip, including the best sun protection ever, Nammu swim hats. I have been wearing nammu for years, for every outdoor activity, I participate in. I sat down with my travel partner and had him choose a few nammu hats online. He chose one with a visor, one without, and the extra UV protection with earflaps. Sitting in the hot springs after 2 days of journey up the peak. The sun was hot, the weather was perfect, and nammu kept our heads cool, and most importantly protected from the sun. These hats look good and are durable. We could literally wear them all day, comfortably. They tie at the back and we wear them in and out of the water, hiking, climbing, and resting This is such a simple product but does so much. Since wearing nammu for over 10 yrs, I have never had a sunburn on my head, ears or back of the neck. My travel buddy was equally impressed with nammu and told me he will keep a few nammu hats at his cottage, foreboding, waterskiing and canoeing. We also decided to buy with our order some natural skin conditioner, sold my nammu. We found it soothing and moisturizing after a full day of activity.
