I haven’t tried swimming in this yet, but the fit is secure so I expect it will stay in place in the water.
These hats are a little small. They are lightweight and keep the sun off your face. Buy the larger size (if you are regular) in this style as it is tight on your head. The large is too small. Otherwise good sun coverage with full brim.
