I was planning a trip with my family to Hawaii, it has been a long time in the planning and I needed to find a solution for sun protection. I left this problem till the last minute, as we were leaving in 5 days. I remember being at an outdoor water park and seeing some children wearing a cool looking sun/water hat. On the side of the hat were the words Nammu.
I went online and found the nammu website.
They are a small business out of Canada. The website has all kinds of information and many different styles of swim protective hats, I need a total of 5 for my family. I decided first to call Nammu to find out if there would be shipping issues. I also had some questions about the hats on whether they can be used for snorkelling.
The customer service person was wonderful. He told me to make sure I bought the right-sized hat, they tie in the back and will stay on the head during any outdoor activity. He suggested for #snorkelling to use a hat without the visor, and the extra UV neck protection will protect from the sun while looking into the water. The next question was the shipping.to use in the USA. He told me they have priority shipping, but because it is a little slower going over the border, it would be best to ship it directly to our resort in #Hawaii. We would be there for 3 weeks, and I could anticipate having the nammu hats in about a week. I ordered right away, and cannot wait to use the nammu sun protection on our long-awaited trip, thank you
