Hat is well made as are all Nammu hats but a bit tight on an adult head, even a bald one such as mine!

I have a couple of suggestions. I would love to have a slit in the back where a pony tail could fit through. Also I would like a longer brim for more facial sun protection. I did choose to cut off the lower flap (just a personal preference). I love the fabric and fit. My CI feels very secure with it on! I won’t be doing any water sports, just out in the sun a lot. Thank you!

I had a Basal Cell Carcinoma on my scalp removed about 18 months ago, and this was my go-to for a beach vacation that included snorkeling and swimming. It worked out great, stayed on, and I didn’t experience any sunburn at all. Highly recommend. I have another one without the visor for use under a helmet when bicycle riding.

I love my new hat!
I ordered the extra large to wear over my cochlear implant. I am a woman with an average size head but the larger size means I can pull the hat down over my implant comfortably and it keeps the exterior piece safely in place. This works under my bicycle helmet!
I find the hat very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
