Enjoying the Ultimate Sun Protection with Nammu Head Gear
I’m from a generation that doesn’t quite embrace selfies, so capturing a photo of myself in a yoga “tree pose” while sporting my Nammu swim hat, long sleeve tall neck shirt, and snorkel seemed a bit out of my comfort zone. However, I wanted to share my experience with these products, as they truly impressed me.
Exceptional Sun Protection
First and foremost, the Nammu swim hat exceeded my expectations. I wore it while snorkeling, and it effectively protected my bald head from getting sunburned. The hat’s design ensured that I stayed cool and shielded from harmful UV rays, making it an essential part of my outdoor gear.
Versatile and Functional Apparel
The tall neck shirt, which I ordered in extra-large, quickly became a favorite. I used it extensively for snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking. The tall neck section was particularly useful; I could pull it up over my nose and tuck the back beneath my hat for added sun protection. Paired with my prescription sunglasses, I didn’t experience any sunburn at all, which was a huge relief.
Minor Adjustments for Perfection
While the shirt was excellent overall, I did notice a couple of areas for potential improvement. The sleeves felt slightly short, so I used the thumb section to cover the backs of my hands. This adjustment caused the shirt to stretch a bit, but it wasn’t a significant issue and I adapted quickly. Nonetheless, longer sleeves would enhance comfort.
Additionally, the tall turtleneck section tended to slip down, which was a bit bothersome. I wish there was a way to keep the turtleneck in place more securely, as I found myself adjusting it frequently.
Overall Satisfaction
Despite these minor adjustments, both the Nammu hats and shirt proved to be fantastic products. The quality and functionality were impressive, and I’m considering getting a hat for each of my two granddaughters. I look forward to sending some cute photos of them enjoying the same great sun protection!
